I realise this is shittiest thing to post on your Independence Day but now you can see why I would fail in an American school
This has seven hundred notes and it’s basically out of my control now but omg this is the Canadian grading scale
THIS is the American grading scale. As you can see, it is completely and utterly designed to make students feel like they are failures. If you think you’d do terribly in Canada, just try and deal with the grades in America. Personally, I’d be thrilled with the Canadian grading system.
A 70 IS A B IN CANADA
ARE YOU KIDDING ME
I CRIED OVER 70s
GOT MY ASS HANDED TO ME OVER 70s
HAD MY FATHER’S HATE AND ANGER UNLEASHED UPON ME OVER 70s
It also depends on where you go to school because my high school in good old Kentucky, USA had a grading scale more like this:
A 90 was a B
an 80 was a C
When I first moved to KY I had a panic attack because HOW THE HECK WAS AN 80 A C?? I also went to a charter school in middle school that completely got rid of D’s, so anything below a 75 was an F. The middle school was a science academy, so I guess there is a little reason there but dang.
This makes me appreciate the dutch system so much more. Like if you get 10 questions on a test the most points you can get is 100 and that is considered a 10 (highest score) but here comes the good part: if you get 60 points that equals a 6 and that means that you passed. And in the school I’m in now even 55 points equaling 5,5 means that you passed.
My school doesn’t let you pass with a D.
Besides the American school system is way too easy and the standards are too low. I don’t have much sympathy about this, unless you’re a disabled student and the learning materials and classes aren’t accessible, or the teacher is biased somehow. If not, just study. Would you really trust a doctor who could only answer a little over half the questions on their exam? School is a place where there should be minimum standards - the actual problems are inaccessibility and molding students into good capitalist drones and not encouraging learning. School being too hard isn’t a fault of the American school system.
seriously if you only know HALF the material that’s not mastering it, that’s as good as an arbitrary guess in some circumstances.
there’s plenty wrong with the american school system but don’t blame it on the fact that you can’t be assed to learn
Q:i want to fill you up with my cum and then watch it dripple out
Megadeth heavy metal guitarist turned Japanese TV show host Marty Friedman has lent his language expertise to a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure themed conversational English instruction guide, set to be released in Japan October 24th. While the reader won’t learn how to holler as fluently as Joseph, they, the non-textbook approach will help them pick up on how to speak in the manner of the series’ flamboyant characters with a guide to their most quoted lines and exclaimations.
this is the news everyone should be paying attention to
You can be proud to be black.
You can be proud to be Asian.
You can be proud to be Arabic.
You can be proud to be Spanish.
You can be proud to be any race.
But you can never be proud to be white, because that makes you racist.
Arabic and Spanish aren’t races go to school
